Rehabilitate and Paint Tainter Gates –Cheatham Lock and Dam

Delivery: RFP-Construction Role: JV Partner Owner: USACE - Nashville Project Fee: $12 million Completion Date: June 2017

The work consisted of furnishing a floating plant, equipment, supplies, and labor to complete repair and painting of 7 double skin plated Tainter Gates (interior and exterior) at Cheatham Lock and Dam. Additional work covered included fabrication, painting and installation of 2 sets of downstream bulkhead seal angles.

QP1/QP2 certification was required. Abrasive blast cleaned 7 tainter gates to a SSPC SP-5 and applied multiple coating systems to the tainter gates that included 5-E-Z Vinyl.
